I am pleased to recommend Valerie R. My search for a skillful, professional caregiver ended when I met Valerie. My mother did not require hands-on care but someone who could skillfully coach and supervise her. Valerie's understanding of how to relate to a person with dementia is quite sophisticated. She has a calm and gentle manner combined with a quiet authority, and my mother responded well to her. I was comfortable having Valerie bring my mother to doctor appointments and report back to me, something I had not trusted previous caregivers to do. My mother lived hundreds of miles from me, and knowing Valerie was with her definitely lessened the worry in my life.
