Jennifer Grey born March 26, is an American actress. She first gained worldwide recognition for her starring roles in the teen comedy film Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing , the latter of which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Her television work includes her victory in season eleven of Dancing with the Stars and the Prime Video comedy Red Oaks — Grey's parents both came from Jewish families. Grey is an alumna of the Dalton School , a private school in Manhattan  where she studied dance and acting, and where she met her best friend, actress Tracy Pollan.

As a small town Louisiana girl, Jennifer Gray was introduced to meteorology during a job shadowing program her senior year of high school. She went on to study journalism and meteorology in college and, after several years of working at smaller stations and a little bit of luck, Gray landed her dream job at CNN. Today, Gray works as a meteorologist for CNN based in Atlanta, and covers everything from hurricanes to earthquakes to wildfires to floods. You should have fun every day and do something you love. Before kindergarten, her family moved to Bossier City. It was wonderful growing up there. She had her first introduction to a newsroom during her senior year of high school, when she participated in a mentoring program and was placed at the local ABC affiliate, KTBS, in Shreveport.
Pedram "P. Javaheri was born in Tehran , Iran to Iranian parents. In October , his family emigrated from Tehran to Redmond , Washington , where he attended elementary school and high school. He also attended Mississippi State University , where he obtained degrees in broadcast journalism and meteorology.
Gray worked up the courage to start participating in a tournament circuit. Often the only woman competing, she had to work hard to be taken seriously. She has graced the cover of Florida Sportsman Magazine and many others plus she will be featured in a coffee table book including the top 50 female anglers in the country that will be released later this spring.
